Vintage Valentine Decor

Going through some old folders this morning, I re-located some favorite mag pages from the past. This is from Country Home Jan/Feb 2004. And too me, that year, CH was really doing some great stuff.
Back then Matthew Mead produced it, so there ya go. Great cuteness and I'm such a sucker for red. And toile. See why I kept these pages! :)

What kind of decor are you doing for Valentines?  I've got my box of "goods" pulled out.  I'm hoping to have the chance to create a little something.

  1. umm lovely -- I love toile and a ticking combo - ideas in my head , not formulated tho -- gotta get busy - hugz - Kathy - ga ♥

  2. I love pops of red in a home all year around! Just makes my happy! Check out my blog or type in key words cathywhatisoldisnew to visit my living room and other "simply red" vintage items from my home.

  3. I miss Country Home! It was one of my favorite magazines. sigh.
    Love the little toile hearts.:0)

  5. Today will be Valentine Making day. Some for Rick or friends, some to take to the shop where I sell my wares. I haven't had art time since before Christmas and am very eager!

  6. Very cute stuff. And the Matthew Mead totally makes sense. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Hey Cindy...we just moved and I lost your email addy. Would you send it again? I do want you to make me a couple of small notebooks, if you have time. Cindy P.

  8. I love the idea of using sprinkles in the candle holder! And frugal! Right up my alley!
It's been a while since I've been able to stop by, glad to see you're still blogging!
